About JNP Sidona Support Services

A privately owned, CQC-registered care provider in London. Small enough that the person who runs it is the person who does your assessment.

Who we are

JNP Sidona Support Services Ltd is a privately owned care provider delivering personalised care to clients across London with care, compassion and respect. We were registered by the Care Quality Commission, the independent regulator of health and social care in England, on 31 October 2023 (CQC location ID 1-17920354624). You can read our registration on the CQC website.

We provide care at home, supported and independent living, and a mobile nail care service for older adults.

A home away from home

We believe there is no place like home. We invest time in getting to know the people we support, and we offer a portfolio of homely services tailored to each individual. We involve service users, family members, friends and healthcare professionals in care planning, so that the plan reflects the person, not the convenience of the rota.

From everyday visits to live-in support, the aim is to help people lead happy and dignified lives, staying independent in a comfortable and safe environment, and staying in control of their own care.

What families actually tell us. Almost every review we receive mentions Jackie by name. She is the owner and manager, she does the assessments, and she is the person who picks up the phone when something changes. One family told us in writing that they came to us after bad experiences with larger companies. That is the whole basis on which we compete, and it only works while we stay small.

How we work

The assessment comes first, and it is free

We visit at home before anything is agreed. We meet the person who needs care, not just the family arranging it, and we talk to whoever else is involved: GPs, district nurses, social workers, hospital discharge teams. Out of that comes a written care plan setting out who comes, when, and what they do.

The same small team

The most common complaint about home care is a different face every visit. We build a small consistent group of carers around each person. It is the single clearest advantage of being a small provider and we protect it deliberately.

We say no when we should

If a package needs more cover than we can staff safely, or clinical input we cannot provide, we say so at the assessment and point you elsewhere. An agency that says yes to everything is not being helpful.

Regulation and standards

We were registered by the Care Quality Commission on 31 October 2023. CQC has not yet carried out its first inspection of our service, so we do not have a rating yet. When CQC publishes a rating, we will show it on this website. We also support the Dignity in Care campaign, which sets out ten principles for treating people receiving care with dignity and respect.

If something goes wrong, we want to hear about it directly and quickly, on 0203 375 4047 or at info@jnpsidonasupportservices.co.uk. You can also raise concerns about any registered provider with the CQC.

Questions people ask

Are you registered with the CQC?

Yes. JNP Sidona Support Services Ltd was registered by the Care Quality Commission on 31 October 2023. CQC has not inspected the service yet, so there is no rating to show. You can check our registration on the CQC website.

How big is the company?

We are a small, privately owned provider, which is deliberate. It is what allows the manager to be involved in every package and the same carers to attend the same clients.

Do you charge for an assessment?

No. The initial assessment at home is free and there is no obligation to proceed.

Are your carers DBS checked?

Pre-employment checks, including a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, are a legal requirement for CQC-registered care providers. Ask us at the assessment and we will explain how we recruit, train and supervise our carers.
