Home Care in Tower Hamlets
Personal care, live-in care and nail care at home across Wapping, Shadwell, Whitechapel, Bethnal Green, Poplar and the Isle of Dogs.

Care at home across the borough
We provide home care, also called domiciliary care, across Tower Hamlets: Wapping and Shadwell, Whitechapel and Stepney, Bethnal Green and Bow, Mile End, Limehouse, Poplar and the Isle of Dogs. Care is delivered in people's own homes, planned after a free assessment visit.
Our day-to-day office is in Lewisham, and the company's registered office is in Wapping.
Language and culture are part of the care
Tower Hamlets has one of the largest Bangladeshi communities in Britain, alongside long-established Somali, Chinese and Jewish communities. Many older residents are more comfortable in a language other than English, particularly when they are unwell or frightened.
In personal care this is not a nicety. Halal food, modesty during washing and dressing, the gender of the person providing intimate care, prayer times, and being able to explain a symptom in your first language all affect whether someone accepts care at all. Tell us about these things at the assessment and we will do our best to match carers to them. They are part of the care plan, not extras.
Coming home from the Royal London? The Royal London in Whitechapel is the borough's main acute hospital. Discharge-to-assess moves quickly, so contact us while the discharge is being planned, not once a date is set. See how our hospital discharge support works.
High-rise living
More than most boroughs, care here happens in flats: post-war blocks in Poplar and Bethnal Green, towers on the Isle of Dogs, warehouse conversions along the river in Wapping. Lifts, door entry, key safes and how equipment gets delivered are all practical questions we settle before the first visit.
What we provide in Tower Hamlets
Questions families in Tower Hamlets ask
Do you cover the whole borough?
Yes, including Wapping, Shadwell, Whitechapel, Stepney, Bethnal Green, Bow, Mile End, Limehouse, Poplar and the Isle of Dogs.
Can we ask for a carer who speaks our language?
Yes, please ask. Tell us about language or cultural preferences at the assessment and we will do our best to match. If we cannot meet a specific request, we will say so honestly before care starts.
Can you provide a female carer for personal care?
Please ask. Requests about the gender of the person providing intimate care are entirely reasonable. Tell us at the assessment and we will plan around it wherever we can.
Can you work with halal dietary requirements?
Yes. Food preparation follows the household's requirements, and we confirm the details at the assessment.
